Lead technical teams across the across the organization to achieve cloud transformation goal. Coach members of the team, drive solutions forward and be able to take a pragmatic approach to ensure success in challenging environments.Please note additional position details below:This is a Temp-To-Hire, W-2 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C.It is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S.You must meet our U.S. Eligibility requirements for work authorization as noted under "Additional Information" at the bottom of the job description.How you'll make an impactEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeading and architecting Azure cloud solutions in enterprise environmentsTaking responsibility for the end-to-end technical solutionTechnical leader and providing guidance to all cloud projectsAnalyzing divisional business requirements and translating these to the right technical solutionLeading divisional workshops and working as part of agile teamsDocumenting technical strategy, solutions and reviewing component designsActively sharing knowledge within the team and cloud CommunityContribute to DevOps development activities and complex development tasksDefine optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for cloud applicationsWork on designing/implementing/automation procedures for deployment, configuration, patching and upgrading of systems and applicationsConduct analysis of production systems and performance testing results to identify areas of improvement within the application or infrastructureConduct feasibility studies for existing and emerging cloud technologiesProvide mentoring and guidance for mid and junior level staff, offering feedback targeted at individual developmentWork closely with vendors, internal groups, and outside agencies to provide technical leadership and solutionsIndependently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changesPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.About YouSkills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience8+ years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical cloud architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operationsExperience with Azure Shell scripting/PowerShell scriptingExposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environmentsKnowledge of all components of technical architectureKnowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processesStrong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologiesStrong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/serverStrong client-facing consultative skills, able to act as a customer advocate;Understanding of Windows Server architecture -Windows 2016, Windows 2019 and IIS;Understanding of Linux Server architecture - RHEL, Oracle Linux, Amazon Linux, etc.Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies;Familiar with one or more server-side scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash)Familiarity with server hardware selection, design and troubleshooting;Understanding of High Availability and Networked Storage solutions including Clustering, Failover and Disaster Recovery products and concepts such as MS Clustering Services, Load Balancing, Routers, LUNS, SAN and NAS;Understanding of application layer protocols, such as HTTP/S, TCP/IP, UDP and Web sockets;Demonstrated abilities with SSO-related software such as AADConnect, ADFS, Ping Identity, OpenSSO, oAuth, Okta or other SAML & OpenID Connect providers;Understanding of Web application security and concepts, such as Ticketing, header injection, XSS, SSL, HTTPS, Kerberos, certificates, Active Directory, LDAP, reverse proxies and firewalls;Hands on experience designing and deploying complex solutions in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or other cloud providers;Excellent presentation and communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.#LI-NJ1#Contingent#APintegrationCompensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
