We all share a common mission to be the most trusted in financial advice.Who We WantThe Tech Intern will gain practical, hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices while contributing to real-world projects in a supportive environment. The person in this role will support platform and engineering teams while exploring tools and processes critical to modern DevOps workflows.What To ExpectCloud Infrastructure Support: Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, under the supervision of experienced engineers.Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Learn and help implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.CI/CD Pipeline Support: Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and Azure DevOps.Monitoring, Reliability & Troubleshooting: Support the team in monitoring, alerting, and documenting system health and reliability practices. Participate in troubleshooting and support efforts to maintain uptime and system reliability.Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Help improve infrastructure and deployment documentation for better knowledge sharing.Collaboration & Learning: Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps professionals to understand and assist with day-to-day platform engineering tasks. Receive mentorship and opportunities to learn a variety of tools and processes critical to modern DevOps workflows.Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.What You NeedFamiliarity with distributed version control systems such as Git required.Interest in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services such as ECS, EC2, and Lambda required.Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform required.Curiosity about containerization using Docker and modern CI/CD practices required.Awareness of security best practices and interest in learning about compliance standards such as SOC 2 required.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team required.Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a collaborative engineering environment required.Preferred Education and Experience* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.* Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Node, Java, Python, Bash, or similar through coursework or personal projects required.EEO Statement:This is your chance to play a key role in the continued success of our company.
