Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" buttonand sending us your resume.Salary: $25 - $35 per hourA bit about us:Our client is a leader in machining aerospace components, committed to delivering high-quality precision parts to meet the demanding needs of the aerospace industry.Why join us?Competitive Compensation: Strong hourly pay (DOE) + built-in overtime earnings401(k) with Generous MatchComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life InsuranceGenerous PTO & Paid HolidaysBuilt-In Overtime Schedule: 1st Shift, 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM = strong, consistent weekly hoursCollaborative Work Environment: Join a connected network of six AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing centers with advanced inspection tools and real CMM ownershipHigh-Impact Work: Aerospace inspections with direct production visibility, supporting programs for GE Aviation, SpaceX, Pratt & Whitney, and other top OEMsStability: Long-tenured, privately held manufacturer with 75+ years of precision manufacturing heritageJob DetailsKey Responsibilities and DutiesPerform dimensional and visual inspections on aerospace machined parts, castings, and complex componentsComplete First Article (AS9102) and first-piece inspections with minimal oversightSet up, operate, program, and maintain CMM routines for repeat inspection workflowsInterpret complex engineering drawings, 2D prints, and 3D CAD modelsApply advanced GD&T interpretation for tight-tolerance aerospace requirementsComplete inspection documentation including FAIRs, nonconformance reports, routers, and inspection recordsEnsure all product meets aerospace customer and regulatory standards prior to releasePartner with engineering on inspection methods and drawing clarificationSupport first-article flow, quality release timing, and downstream production continuity in a high-output environmentQualifications NeededHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade certifications a plusMinimum 5 years of aerospace or precision machining inspection experienceStrong, hands-on background in advanced GD&T interpretation (advanced level required)Proven experience with CMM setup, operation, and programmingProven ability to independently interpret complex 2D prints and 3D CAD modelsExperience completing AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)Comfortable working in a high-output, production-driven aerospace environmentAbility to work 1st Shift, 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM (built-in overtime schedule)Interested in hearing more?
