Medical Assistant

Job Description Medical assistant needed for a busy podiatry practice. Traveling will be required to the satellite offices in Largo and Pasadena each week (1 day for each office) so reliable transportation is a must. Experience is required. Must be reliable, dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask. Duties include but are not limited to taking patients into the room, entering all information on the EMR system, assisting the physician with procedures or anything needed, wound care, sending out biopsies/cultures, cleaning rooms after patient is finished, filling out all of the necessary paperwork, dispensing diabetic shoes, etc. Pay will be based on experience and discusses prior to the interview process. 1 week of training is mandatory in our main location in Okeechobee, Florida. Gas, food and hotel will be provided during the training.
