VFD Pump & Motor Mechanic

Job Description: ClearWater Engineering’s Irrigation Pump Technicians successfully complete maintenance, repair and installation of major irrigation, filtration and aeration equipment to include pumps and motors (1/2 to 75hp, 220-460v), filters, aeration systems and floating fountains. Successful candidates must possess a strong work ethic, technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills and a team player attitude. ClearWater Engineering is a recognized leader in this industry with a 23-year history of maintaining and repairing irrigation and aeration equipment for golf courses, schools, HOAs, condominiums, municipalities and commercial complexes located throughout Maricopa, Pinal and Coconino counties. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, maintain, repair and replace all brands and types of irrigation, aeration and filtration equipment Ensure high customer satisfaction through communication and follow-through with customers and team members Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized vehicle and job site Maintains tools and parts inventory in a secure and accurate fashion Qualifications/Job Requirements: 2+ years electro mechanical, full VFD experience needed for senior techs Excellent technical, communication and teamwork skills Strong work ethic, self-motivated, well-organized and positive attitude Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds Willing to work outside in all weather conditions Comfortable with repetitive bending, squatting, twisting, and standing Able to row a boat and swim if necessary High School Diploma or GED Valid drivers license with clean driving record Smartphone with data plan 18 years of age or older Schedule: Weekdays with occasional after-hour/weekend call-outs Benefits: On-the-job-training, unique tools, and company vehicle provided for on-the-job use Competitive compensation and bonuses Holiday and flexible Paid Time Off Fully portable IRA retirement savings plan Weekly pay Phone allowance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Experience: Mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
