Precision Grinder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating grinding machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate grinding machines to achieve precise dimensions and finishes on metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and GD&T specifications. Assemble components as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process. Utilize CNC machinery when necessary for complex grinding tasks. Maintain equipment by performing regular checks, cleaning, and minor repairs as required. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to all safety guidelines while operating machinery, including the use of cranes when necessary for material handling. Qualifications Proven experience in grinding or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Advanced math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Experience with laser cutting technology is advantageous but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
