Role Description This is a full-time role for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in New York, NY. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and overseeing electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. Responsibilities include preparing electrical drawings and schematics, conducting feasibility studies, collaborating with construction teams, and performing quality and safety assessments. This role also requires effective communication with clients and project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met successfully. Qualifications Proficiency in electrical system design, drafting schematics, and technical documentationExperience with electrical safety standards, NFPA and building codesKnowledge of relevant engineering and electrical construction rules, energy codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirementsAbility to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of electrical engineering principles, understanding plans and specificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with construction teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholdersProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering7+ years of related work experince Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one is a plusExperience with new construction and high rise buildings in NYC is prefered
