Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-site) Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-site) Compensation: $90 - $105/hr (1099 or C2C) Please Note: We are unable to sponsor visas for this role. Scope: Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of an enterprise’s architecture to effectively support the FLWINS Program. Research, analyze, design, propose, and deliver solutions that align with business and technology strategies. Interface across multiple business areas, acting as a visionary to proactively define the direction for future projects. Conceptualize solutions, build consensus, and execute proposed solutions. Conduct design reviews for smaller enhancements and larger fixes. Establish standards and best practices for solutions. Identify areas of technology impacted by new requests. Minimum Qualifications of Candidate: Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience in multiple IT areas. At least 2 years of relevant enterprise-wide architecture experience in one or more specialty areas. 5+ years of experience in software development. 5+ years of experience with relational databases. 5+ years of experience in system administration. Advanced-level experience in cloud architecture and implementation. 5+ years of experience providing technical support for server and database infrastructure services. 5+ years of experience in providing customer service for client-reported technical issues. Experience in architecting IT solutions and reviewing/recommending products to meet those solutions. Leadership experience in managing and completing complex projects relevant to server/database infrastructure services. Experience supporting the management and completion of complex projects or project tasks as a team member. Familiarity with COM policies and procedures for IT services. Advanced to expert level knowledge in architecture, applications, systems design, and integration. Understanding of Agile or Waterfall Development Methodology. Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps. Experience with ANSI SQL (Oracle 12g or SQL Server). Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (web services). Experience in identity management and SSO (Single Sign-On) implementation. Experience and implementation of cloud-native services. Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or familiarity with other Enterprise Architecture frameworks. Significant business knowledge with a concentration in one or more technical expertise areas.
