This role goes beyond traditional planning cycles to deliver deep insights into revenue drivers, cost structures, and operational efficiency, enabling leadership to optimize growth and profitability across client segments and service models.Key Responsibilities: Advanced Financial & Business AnalysisLead profitability analysis across business lines and by office/regionDevelop detailed models to evaluate revenue yield, cost-to-serve, and contribution marginsSupport detailed MD&A analysis & identify key trends/insights on financial performanceManage key KPIs such as utilization and capacity analysis, and revenue by office and leadLead pricing analysis by office/regionSupport M&A related analysisFinancial Planning & ForecastingLead budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on key value driversOversee budget to actuals and variance analysisLead cash forecast modeling and cash flow management processesDevelopment of multi-year financial forecastsContinuously improve forecast accuracy through data-driven insights and scenario analysisQualifications: Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems or related field10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance rolesStrong experience in financial services, preferably wealth or asset managementSkills & CompetenciesAdvanced financial modeling and data analysis/modeling capabilitiesStrong understanding of business line economics, cost allocation, and profitability frameworksExperience analyzing capacity utilization, productivity metrics, and operational efficiencyKnowledge of pricing strategy, fee structures, and revenue optimization techniques, preferably in private equity funded/managed and AUM-based revenue structuresAdvanced proficiency in ExcelExperience with Netsuite Planning & Budgeting and Netsuite Data Analytics Warehouse and PowerBi or equivalent preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersStrong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and intellectual curiosityPay Transparency: Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $145,000 - $170,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training.
