Failure Analysis Engineer

Innovative Circuits Engineering, Inc., based in San Jose, CA, provides comprehensive electronics engineering services, including Reliability Testing, PCB Design and Assembly, Failure Analysis, and ESD solutions. As part of the continued expansion of our Failure Analysis division, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Failure Analysis Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will conduct electrical and physical failure analysis on a wide range of electronic devices to determine root causes of failure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience and proficiency with industry-standard tools and techniques, including X-ray, C-SAM, curve tracers, SEM, hot spot analysis, FIB, decapsulation (de-capping), cross-sectioning, and chemical deprocessing. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline is preferred but not required. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
