Drivers OTR

Job Description We are seeking a Driver to join our team! You will collect and transport medical waste from assigned medical centers as well as related clinics and deliver the waste to an assigned disposal facility.​Responsibilities:Load and unload vehicleInspect and monitor delivery vehicleComplete manifestsManage assigned routes ensuring customers' waste is picked up in a timely and accurate mannerPick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulationsPick up specified waste from each customer site scheduled for the dayAssist in gathering, labeling, auditing, and proper shipping of assigned customer facilities wasteEnsure that customers have packaged and prepared the waste according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations before transportingOther Duties as assigned​Qualifications:Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fieldsExperience in materials handling, hazmat, or medical technician a plusClean driving recordAbility to handle physical workloadDeadline-orientedEducation equivalent to graduation from high schoolPrevious route management experience is a plusMaintain current required driver's license, with an excellent driving recordDemonstrate good computer skills and knowledge of internetMust be able to exert up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 60 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, push or pull carts weighing as much as 500 poundsCDL A or B is a plusSubject to initial and random drug and alcohol testingCompany DescriptionEarth Smart Environmental Solutions (ES2) is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that provides recycling, reuse and/or disposal of hazardous, universal, medical, pharmaceutical, non-hazardous, and solid waste while meeting or exceeding customer expectations for all of the United States.
