This is a rare chance to take ownership of critical substation infrastructure projects with a global leader, in a role that offers both long-term stability and above-market pay.Job DescriptionDevelop protection and control design packages for new and existing substationsDesign relay protection schemes for transmission lines, transformers, buses, and breakersCreate and review one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layoutsPerform relay settings development and coordination studiesDesign and implement SCADA, RTU, and communication systems integrationDevelop logic diagrams and control schemes for substation automation systemsPerform grounding design and support related calculationsPrepare material specifications, bills of material, and construction documentationReview vendor drawings and submittals for compliance with project requirementsSupport field activities including construction, testing, commissioning, and troubleshootingCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, and physical substation design engineersEnsure designs meet applicable industry standards (IEEE, NERC, NEC, etc.) and client specificationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
