Continuous Improvement Manager- Remote

About the Opportunity:The Continuous Improvement Manager leads efficiency transformation initiatives across several manufacturing sites. This role is pivotal in identifying operational waste, improving performance metrics, and embedding continuous improvement practices within food manufacturing and related business operations. Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, the position requires a hands-on leader who drives strategic change, mentors teams, and delivers measurable improvements.3. Responsibilities:• Develop and implement Lean transformation plans, including value stream mapping for food manufacturing processes• Lead Gemba walks and improve visual management in production and office settings• Drive leadership accountability to remove flow inhibitors and implement continuous improvement initiatives• Coordinate Kaizen events and Lean manufacturing projects across multiple locations• Mentor site leadership to build a continuous improvement culture• Provide Lean training and coaching for employees at various levels• Promote open communication and employee engagement in Lean efforts• Support standard work, 5S, and continuous flow in production and office functions• Integrate Lean thinking into enterprise-level value stream management• Collaborate with Site Operations Leadership on annual strategic plans• Work with new product development teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability• Track and report Lean metrics and verified savings across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash• Stay updated on Lean methodologies through ongoing education and benchmarking• Serve as a resource to resolve implementation challenges and advance Lean plans4. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• 8+ years in food manufacturing with strong expertise in Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies• Proven success leading Continuous Improvement initiatives in food production environments• Located near one of the following: Charlotte, NC; Renton, WA; Oak Creek, WI; Middletown, PA• Positive, proactive, hands-on, results-oriented, and able to work independently5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Salary range: 120,000.00 to 125,000.00 annually• Internal Employee Referral Bonus available6.
