Container and Trailer Repair Mechanic

Job Overview Join our team as a Container and Trailer Technician, playing a vital role in maintaining and repairing trailers for national and international customers. You’ll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations in our distribution yards. Key Responsibilities · Diagnose and repair chassis and trailer issues, including ABS systems, air brakes, wheel ends, and structural components. · Perform minor welding and fabrication on chassis and shipping containers. · Use a mobile app to log work orders and document repairs accurately. Job Qualifications · Mechanical experience or background. · Valid driver’s license. · Ability to pass background check and drug screening. · Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications · Spanish language skills. · Welding experience. · Knowledge of ABS systems. · Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems. Why Join P&B Intermodal?
