A strong understanding of test strategy, test planning, test preparation, API testing, and QA best practices is essential.Experience with the Azure platform and a willingness to learn are key foundations for success. The role requires flexibility to support different work hours to overlap with US teams and participate in key calls.Some of the things you'll be doing:Job Accountabilities / Detailed Responsibilities:Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to refine user stories and ensure test readinessPrepare comprehensive test plans and test scenarios based on business requirements and acceptance criteriaExecute and review functional, UI, and API tests to validate product functionality and qualityPerform regression testing and maintain continuous test coverage within CI/CD pipelinesIdentify quality gaps, log defects with clear documentation, and collaborate with development teams for resolutionDesign, develop, and manage automated test scripts using Playwright, applying QA principles and best practicesApply core testing principles: test planning, preparation, execution, reporting, and defect managementParticipate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to story estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectivesContinuously improve QA processes, automation strategies, and overall product qualityWhat technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?Education, Skills & Competencies:6-8 years of overall testing experience with strong focus on manual and functional testingDisciplined in following testing processes and timelines, with prompt delivery of story points and outputsStrong analytical skills, eye for detail, and ability to quickly learn new applications (Payments, Wires, Entity Management, KYC, Trust Business)Hands-on experience in Playwright (JavaScript-based automation)Good exposure to API testing tools like Postman or REST AssuredExperience working in Agile teams with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsFinancial Services / Investment Banking domain experience is preferredExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a quality-first mindsetFlexibility to support different work hours to overlap with US teams and participate in key callsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
