Job Description:
Ebix Health’s Customer Support group provides end user support for our suite of software solutions. The Customer Support Specialist is a highly visible position responsible for first level support to our customers.
We look for results-oriented people who have initiative, a good attitude, the ability to learn quickly, a willingness to succeed, and who truly enjoy helping people.
Responsibilities will include:
Answer, research, and resolve support requests via phone, email and web in a timely and friendly manner
Provide regular reporting on status of support requests, outstanding issues, activities and achievements
Troubleshoot customer issues related to installations or general use of software
Continually work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our support services
Communicate with internal resources on level 2 and 3 support logs
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting software applications
Ability to solve problems quickly and methodically
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Independent self-starter with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high call volume environment
Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
Ability to work 9 AM – 6 PM EST
