Program Manager, Construction & Infrastructure Delivery
***This role can be remote but candidates must be flexible and open to travel, including occasional short-notice travel to customer sites. Candidates based in South Carolina or the Southeast region are strongly preferred.*** POSITION SUMMARYWe are partnering with a global industrial organization that delivers highly engineered systems into large‑scale, mission‑critical capital construction projects. This role sits at the program level, responsible for driving execution across multiple complex customer projects simultaneously. The Program Manager will serve as the central point of accountability for delivery, overseeing the successful execution of a portfolio of capital projects from early planning through installation and commissioning. This individual will operate at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and field operations, ensuring alignment across all functions to meet customer commitments. This is a highly visible, cross‑functional leadership role requiring strong ownership of schedule, cost, risk, and customer outcomes across multiple concurrent projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn delivery across a portfolio of complex customer projects, ensuring alignment of priorities, resources, and timelines across the full program lifecycleServe as the primary point of accountability for customer commitments, proactively managing escalations, competing priorities, and overall delivery performanceEstablish program-level visibility into schedule, cost, and progress, ensuring projects remain on track and corrective actions are taken proactivelyDrive coordination across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and field execution teams to ensure seamless delivery of engineered systems into construction environmentsOversee construction integration, ensuring alignment between design, procurement, manufacturing, and site execution activitiesManage interfaces between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth handoffs between engineering, suppliers, contractors, and installation teamsEnsure readiness across all key phases including manufacturing release, site delivery, installation, commissioning, and final handoverOversee performance of third‑party suppliers, contractors, and service providers, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and contractual expectationsLead program-level risk identification and mitigation, including construction, supply chain, and schedule risksMaintain structured program governance, including progress tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication across internal leadership and customersDrive execution discipline across projects, ensuring accountability, prioritization, and consistency in delivery standardsPromote adherence to quality, safety (HSE), and operational standards across all program activities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS10-15+ years of experience in program or senior project leadership within capital project, infrastructure, or engineered systems environmentsProven track record managing multiple concurrent projects with direct accountability for cost, schedule, and delivery outcomesStrong experience working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and construction/site execution environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead in customer-facing roles, managing expectations, escalations, and stakeholder alignmentExperience supporting projects through installation, commissioning, and final deliveryBackground in industries such as EPC, industrial manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or construction-driven environmentsStrong understanding of program-level coordination, risk management, and execution oversight in complex, high-visibility environmentsFamiliarity with structured project/program delivery frameworks (PMI or equivalent) is a plus, but not required
