Construction Project Engineer

Job Description Project Engineer - Site Utility Construction Talus Construction is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to support projects in the Greater Bay Area. Knowledge of site utility construction is a plus.Responsibilities· Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the Project Manager and Superintendent· Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.· Organize and maintain project files· Approve material invoices· Assist with change order management.· Manage the closeout and turnover process.· Attend project meetings.· Site conditions verification and support as needed.Requirements· 3-6+/- years of Project Engineer experience in Underground Wet Utilities, Earthworks, Paving, and Grading.· Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials· Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore & Heavyjob, Bluebeam· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills· Self-starter with "Can-Do" attitude· College degree in Construction Management preferred.
