Job DescriptionFormed Hose Assembly - 2nd, & 3rd Shifts AvailableLocation: Grand River, OHShifts:2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:10 PM (Monday-Friday)3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:10 AM (Sunday-Thursday)Pay Rate:2nd & 3rd Shifts: $16.28/hrContract-to-hire opportunity with raises and benefits after permanent hire Pay & BenefitsTen-minute paid break every hourMedical & Dental Insurance after 90 days401(k) with 3% match on the first 6% contributedShort- & Long-Term Disability, Life & AD&D InsurancePaid Vacation (after one year)Paid holidays, bereavement leave, jury duty Job ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Formed Hose Assembly Team, you'll be working in teams of three in a clean and safety-focused environment producing fiberglass fluid transmission hoses for major auto manufacturers.Tasks include:Removing a small metal clamp from the hoseBlowing air through the hose to clear itReattaching a metal piece and capReturning completed hoses to a basket for heat processingRotating through related tasks as needed (some paperwork included)Occasionally assisting other departmentsDocumenting work accurately Required QualificationsAbove-average hand-eye coordination and hand strengthAble to stand and move for entire 8-hour shiftsComfortable working in warm and moderately noisy areasReliable attendance and commitment to shift scheduleAble to work in a team of three, rotating tasks as neededStrong focus on quality and process documentationWillingness to follow strict safety and attendance policies Workplace EnvironmentWell-established division of a global auto supplierStrong record of safety (2,000+ days without lost time)16 hose sizes produced, primarily under 1 foot in lengthInternal communication boards keep you updated on performance, safety, and goalsAir conditioned and organized work floorOpportunities to grow: 4 of 5 supervisors started in this exact role!
