Manager of Consolidations Accounting

A globally recognized industry leader headquartered in Paramus, NJ is looking for a talented Manager of Consolidations Accounting to join a dynamic, collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in public accounting with a successful transition into progressive private industry roles. Experience working within a complex, global matrixed organization. SAP experience is a plus.ResponsibilitiesReview consolidated worldwide financial statements, including journal entries, account analyses, and supporting documentation.Provide guidance and oversight to global teams as they work to establish consistent, compliant processes and controls that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including the timely identification and resolution of issues.Support SEC filings and the Annual Report, encompassing financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures.Partner with tax, treasury, and other departments to resolve accounting issues and deliver transaction insights.Manage external audit requests and ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX requirements.Oversee global corporate analysis related to consolidations and eliminations, including intercompany inventory and gross profit eliminations.Champion process improvements — such as close acceleration — and automation initiatives within the Corporate Controller's Group and across global accounting-to-report teams.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting.6–10 years of experience in public accounting and/or general accounting/consolidations.Supervisory experience through direct or indirect leadership.Strong technical accounting knowledge paired with advanced analytical capabilities.Experience preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements, unless coming directly from public accounting.Familiarity with Continuous Improvement mindset and methodologies.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Preferred Skills & KnowledgeCPA certification, or active progress toward certification.Experience with SAP Background in public accounting and/or general accounting/consolidations within a large, multinational, publicly traded company.
