It is defined by a culture that prioritizes flexibility and human connection, offering the resources of a global powerhouse within a supportive, people-first environment.The Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be a key member of the tax practice, focusing on business income tax planning and ASC 740 accounting projects.Engagement Leadership: Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, and directing tax projects while managing budgets.Technical Review: Conduct primary reviews of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements and tax returns, providing recommendations for accuracy and tax savings.Team Development: Supervise, train, and mentor senior associates and interns, assessing performance and performing the \"in-charge\" role as needed.Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with client management and staff at all levels to understand business objectives and gather critical information.Strategic Research: Research and consult on various tax matters and respond to inquiries from the IRS, State, and other tax authorities.Additional DetailsWork Arrangement: Hybrid environment; must be willing to work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.Locations: Opportunities available in Boston, MA or Hartford, CT.Travel: Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.Salary Range: $121,000 – $181,000
