Cyber Test Engineer

The OpportunityDo you have a Space Systems Engineering background? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your technical skills to our nation’s Space Systems? If this sounds like you, come join Space Force Analytics (SFA) and a team of scientists, engineers, and space system acquisition experts that are developing the next generation of remote sensing satellite and ground systems.You will work with SFA colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to acquire and develop Missile Warning/Defense, and Weather Remote Sensing Systems. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to the success of the programs that you support. Hybrid work from home and office, with occasional travel to various contractor sites and U.S. Government installations.In this role, you will research and describe Cyber Threats at multiple classification levels and develop measures of effectiveness for Cyber Resiliency. You will develop threat scenarios and play a leading role in Cyber Table Tops & Cyber Test Events. You will report your findings and recommend solutions in a collaborative efforts with the Gov. and other contractor personnel.You Have5+ years of space systems experience with a focus on Cyber / TestExperience in space system acquisitionsExperience with cyber vulnerability and protection assessmentsExperience with cyber tabletopsExperience writing cyber test scenariosExperience writing/reviewing cyber test docs: TEMP, Cybersecurity Strategy, etc... Ability to interact in cross-functional teams and work collaboratively and independentlyBachelor's degree in a STEM major, preferably cybersecurity relatedSecret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI Nice if You HaveExperience creating real world threat scenarios for testExperience with hardening and compliance of cloud environmentsExperience with Mission-Based Risk Assessment Process for Cyber (MRAP-C)Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) ATO CertificationExperience running cyber test events and working with various test organizationExperience working with US Space Force PersonnelExperience on console at test eventsExperience with Model Based Systems EngineeringExperience leading teams on cyber/test related activitiesMaster's degree in a STEM major, preferably cybersecurity relatedCISSP and other cyber-related certificationsTS/SCICareer GrowthSFA offers a variety of ways for you to develop your career including tuition reimbursement, professional development, mentoring, employee engagement groups, and networking opportunities.Salary and Benefits$150K to $250K, depending on qualifications and experience401(k) with 10% company matchingMedical premiums 100% coveredLife InsurancePTO includes holidays, sick days, and vacationFlexible hybrid work from home and Los Angeles Air Force BasePaid parental leaveEducation reimbursementSigning bonusAnnual bonus and pay raiseAdditional benefits for U.S. military veterans
