JOB SUMMARY:
The Kitchen Steward Supervisor is responsible for training, supervising, and working with utility staff in order to provide a clean and safe working environment, exceeding all health and sanitation requirements from the county and state. The supervisor ensures proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products; schedules utility staff with proper coverage; and adheres to control procedures for cost and quality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be at least 21 years old.
· High school diploma or equivalency.
· Must have at least two years of progressive kitchen and maintenance sanitation management.
· Must be able to obtain Serv-safe certification.
· Must have proven cooperation and support skills.
· Knowledge of storage and inventory controls.
· Effective communication skills at all levels.
· Demonstrated cooperation and ability to learn.
· Must be able to lead by example to build and maintain a team.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must have excellent attendance.
· Must be available to work all shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.
· Must be able to receive and provide direction in English.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
