This role is a key part of that growth.The RoleWe’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR). This is primarily an outbound sales role. Your main focus will be proactively identifying and reaching out to restaurant brands that are a strong fit for Ovation. We are looking for someone who has sold to restaurants previously.While you may support inbound interest, the core responsibility of this role is outbound prospecting — researching accounts, cold calling, and starting conversations with decision-makers at multi-unit restaurant brands.You’ll be one of the first people prospects talk to — which means you play a huge role in shaping how Ovation is perceived.What You’ll DoProactively prospect into multi-unit restaurant brands through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreachResearch accounts and identify key decision-makers (Operations, Marketing, Technology leaders)Conduct outbound discovery conversations to understand business challenges and qualify fitGenerate qualified opportunities for the sales team through consistent outbound activitySupport inbound leads as needed by qualifying and routing them appropriatelyKeep Salesforce and HubSpot up to date with accurate notes and activityCollaborate closely with marketing and sales to improve lead quality and conversionAttend and support select industry conferences and events in the U.S.What We’re Looking ForExperience cold calling into restaurants or restaurant brands is required6-12 months of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales roleComfortable talking to decision-makers over phone, email, and videoStrong communication skills — curious, clear, and professionalOrganized and disciplined with follow-ups and CRM hygieneSelf-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environmentU.S.-based and able to travel occasionally for conferencesFamiliarity with Salesforce and HubSpotCompensation & BenefitsOpportunity to grow into an SDR leadership role as the team expandsCompetitive salary 401(k) with company match up to 4%Healthcare reimbursementRemote work environmentCompany onsite eventsOvation swag
