They normally teach no more than half of the full-time load. Adjunct instructors receive a letter of appointment for each semester in which they teach; they are paid on a per-course basis. No expectation of continuing employment is implied.The University of New Haven is searching for adjunct instructors in Psychology to begin in Fall 2026. The position supports the instructional needs of the Psychology and Sociology Department in teaching.You WillTeach one or more courses in undergraduate psychology, including: Introduction to Psychology, Adolescent Development, Social Psychology, and Theories of Personality.You NeedAt least a master's degree or Ph.D. in Psychology At least one year of experience teaching college-level preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to prepare courses with best pedagogical practice in mind Experience with instructional technology Familiarity with, or the ability to quickly adopt, the Canvas LMS.
