Licensed Practical Nurse
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly in pediatrics. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to manage pain effectively, and proficiency in medical documentation. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Part-time 3 days week, Monday-Wednesday 8:30-5;00 PM
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the physician.
Assist with pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Filling out school forms for physicals.
Collect specimens for laboratory testing and process them according to protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using an EMR system.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards of practice.
Requirements
Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping.
Ability to perform specimen collection processing accurately.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism.
