As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control operations, document and report activity, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. At Allied Universal, you will work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.46 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and/or to emergency services as required by post orders.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access.Support access control operations by checking identification and/or credentials, managing visitor sign-in and badge processes, and directing authorized individuals to approved areas.Complete detailed security-related reports, including patrol logs and incident documentation, and communicate updates to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Have 2+ years of security experience.Have an active DoD Secret clearance.Be 21+ years of age.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
