This is not a DBA role we need hands-on developers who have built complex business logic and performance-critical engines directly within Oracle databases running on Exadata.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-performance database applications on Oracle Exadata.Build core business logic such as performance engines, compliance engines, and OLTP processing systems.Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code using Exadata-specific capabilities:Smart ScanStorage IndexesHybrid Columnar Compression (HCC)PartitioningParallel Query ExecutionCollections and advanced PL/SQL techniquesDiagnose and tune performance bottlenecks across SQL, PL/SQL, storage, and infrastructure layers.Participate in ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) and automated testing.Work within Agile teams using CI/CD and DevOps practices.Required Skills15+ years of Oracle development experience.Deep expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata engineering and optimization.Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration concepts.Proven experience building complex application logic in the database.Experience with ATDD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.Preferred BackgroundFinancial services or other highly regulated industry experience.Experience supporting mission-critical OLTP systems.
