General Manager - Zeeks Pizza (Issaquah)

Zeeks Pizza - General Manager (Issaquah Highlands)A Zeeks General Manager is the host of the party, and the leader of their store... they're responsible for all aspects of the restaurants' success! Our GMs understand the overall mission, culture, and philosophy of Zeeks and are able to translate and implement them effectively on a day-to-day basis. Zeeks is fanatical about its standards for food quality, cleanliness and customer service, and bringing a kickass experience to our guests. At your store, you'll need to direct others to achieve their goals, and must be able to communicate effectively and delegate. The ability to remain level-headed under stress and stay positive is a must, because life is way too short to work with assholes! What it'll look like:CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ("CX")Ensure that the highest level of customer service is maintained by all crew membersProvide all customers with a return-worthy time (music the right volume, temperature just right, a good-lookin' pizza, pint glasses never empty, etc...)TEAM MANAGEMENT/DEVELOPMENTIdentification of staffing needs within the restaurantTraining and mentoring your crewEnsure all shifts have effective leadership and run well, even when not presentEvaluate staff performance and provide helpful and consistent feedback, in-line with Zeeks' proceduresSTORE OPERATIONSGenerate weekly schedules while tracking productivity, sales forecasting and special eventsManage inventory and order suppliesLead and manage shifts when present in restaurant (Remember- each shift is a party, and you're the host!)Have knowledge of every function in the restaurant and be able to fill any position during a shiftResolve customer service, product outages, facilities, and other unforeseen issues as necessaryMaintain a clean store, consistent with Zeeks' standardsKEY STOKE INDICATORS (KSI)Proactively manage productivity, cost of goods ("COGS"), and other key drivers of store performanceBE THE 'EMBASSADOR' OF YOUR STOREAttend monthly GM meetings with other GMs and Zeeks HQ Team (usually at a local brewery- drinks on us!)Communication with Zeeks Operations Center ('Ops Center') and broader organization proactively and professionallyCommunicate effectively with upper management and honchos, keeping them in the loop on your store and what you'll need to keep the ship sailing smoothlyExperience and Qualifications2+ years of restaurant or retail management experience Demonstrated ability to lead, promote and foster a positive work environment Proven organizational and managerial skills Motivated self-starterRecognize profitability is essential to our success Ability to give and receive constructive feedback Demonstrated commitment to high standards Ability to remain level-headed and think clearly under pressure Previous pizza experience preferred Other Benefits:Health Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision Paid Sick Leave & PTO 50% employee discount on delivery, dine-in, and takeout Real opportunities for advancement - most of our leadership started in stores just like this one!
