Description :Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Up to 120 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off Up to $4,000 Relocation bonus $1.00 Certification pay Clinical Ladder up to $4,000 Job Summary A member of the healthcare team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures. Job Requirements Education • * Required: Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist. * Required: Credentialed by the ABSA or CAAHED as a certified first assistant/certified surgical technologist or certified surgical assistant having graduated from an accredited program en route to certification with proof of eligibility to take exam for certification Experience Required: Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist for 36 months before First Assistant Program. Skills • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams * Strong analytical/problem solving skills * Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment * Able to work in a fast paced environment * Ability to maintain personal effectiveness while dealing with various personalities, skill levels, and rapidly changing situations Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days and maintained throughout employment?
