Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesSharpen and manufacture solid carbide tools; service all carbide and high-speed tools.Build manufacturing and sharpening programs.Build and/or modify grinding wheel packs.Organize inventories and administer all available tooling adaptors and abrasive wheels.Contribute ideas for improvement in all areas; may include design, modification or fabrication of special tools according to specifications and tooling requirements approved by engineering.Work independently using safe and productive work methods.Maintain a neat and orderly workplace,Accept and follow all company and department rules and regulations.Maintain reliable attendance.Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.Complete all other assignments and special projects as requested.Demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions
