Senior Contract Manager

Position: Senior Contract Manager Location: West Lafayette, IN 47906Position Summary:This role will support large-scale project execution activities with a focus on contract administration, claim management, commercial risk mitigation, and contractual compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex engineering or industrial contracts and working cross-functionally with project management, procurement, legal, and engineering teams.Key Responsibilities Include:• Managing contracts and contractual communications throughout project execution• Developing contract and claim management strategies• Monitoring commercial risks and opportunities• Supporting client/vendor claims and negotiations• Managing contractual notifications, deviations, and claim logs• Supporting audits and internal quality processes• Coordinating with engineering, procurement, subcontracting, and project controls teamsPreferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Legal• 5–10 years of contract management experience• Strong understanding of contract forms, claims management, and commercial risk• Experience supporting engineering, EPC, plant engineering, or industrial projects• Knowledge of scheduling, project controls, cost impacts, and critical path concepts• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
