Director of SEC Financial Reporting
We are partnering with a retail client seeking a Director of Financial Reporting. You'll play a crucial role in managing an organization's financial health. Ideal candidate has experience with SEC financial reporting, 10Q and 10K, technical accounting research, analysis and implementation. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $230,000 to $260,000 per year.Job Description:Create balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports, paying special attention to SEC requirements (10Q, 10K)Dive into financial data, identifying trends, costs, and revenue patterns. Use this analysis to predict future revenues and expenses.Collaborate with management, offering valuable insights on resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget assumptions.Be well-versed in standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.Rely on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.Perform additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating creativity and adaptability.Requirements:Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong project management skills.Familiarity with systems integrations, automated processes, ERP systems, and reporting tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex financial information effectively.A creative thinker who can propose innovative solutions. Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.Industry experience in retail, consumer products, and/or manufacturing.CPA certification with expertise in technical accounting policies, procedures, and US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.10+ years of progressively larger financial leadership roles.Experience with SEC-registered companies and international exposure is a plus.REF #48994#LI-POST
