As our operations continue to grow, we are strengthening our internal capabilities to support workforce development and day-to-day operations across the organization.About the RoleThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processing and supporting employee evaluation and training coordination. This role ensures payroll accuracy and compliance while also contributing to workforce development through structured tracking of performance and training activities.This position requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to handle sensitive employee data.Responsibilities1. Payroll Management & ComplianceManage end-to-end payroll processing, including collection and verification of employee hours and attendanceCoordinate with payroll providers or internal finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processingMaintain payroll records and ensure employee data (compensation, deductions, status changes) is accurate and up to dateReview payroll outputs and resolve discrepanciesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsSupport payroll reporting, audits, and documentation2. Employee Evaluation & Performance TrackingMaintain and track employee evaluation records and performance dataSupport implementation of evaluation processes for different rolesCoordinate with supervisors to collect and consolidate performance feedbackAssist management in monitoring employee performance trends and key indicators3. Training Coordination & Development SupportCoordinate employee training activities, including onboarding and role-based trainingTrack training completion and maintain training recordsSupport development of structured training plans for new and existing employeesAssist management in identifying training needs and follow-up actionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred1-2 years of experience in payroll, administrative, HR, or related rolesExperience managing or coordinating payroll processes preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HR or payroll systems is a plusMandarin Chinese and English bilingual proficiency requiredWork EnvironmentFull-time, on-site position located in Lancaster County, South CarolinaManufacturing environment with close interaction across production, warehouse, and office teamsCollaborative setting with direct exposure to company leadership and day-to-day operationsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) retirement plan
