Controller

This role will partner closely with executive leadership and operations to drive financial reporting, job costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and process improvements. Controller Key Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * CPA and/or CMA preferred * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing * Experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership role * Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls * Experience with project accounting, job costing, inventory, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting * ERP implementation or optimization experience highly preferred * Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and process improvement skills * Ability to work in a collaborative, hands-on environment Controller Core Responsibilities: * Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process * Prepare financial statements, management reports, and rolling cash flow forecasts * Oversee the general ledger, account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and debt management * Manage job costing and WIP accounting, tracking labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and overhead * Analyze project costs and profitability, identifying opportunities for operational improvement * Lead the annual budgeting process and support long-term financial planning * Supervise accounting staff while developing efficient accounting processes and internal controls * Partner with operations and executive leadership on financial analysis, capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives * Support ERP implementation and accounting process automation * Coordinate annual audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting * Develop KPI dashboards and financial metrics to support business decision-making Benefits & Perks: * Competitive salary of $100,000 to $120,000 * Bonus opportunity * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits * Retirement plan with company contribution * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturing organization with a collaborative leadership team Ready to take the next step in your accounting career?
