Apply today and let's create memorable guest experiences together!POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to maintain clean and attractive rooms for the guests of Oxford Collection of hotels. This position is responsible for the timely and proper cleaning and sanitizing of the guestrooms on a daily basis.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.Guestroom Cleaning and Sanitizing (80%):Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guestrooms. This includes completing all pre-clean duties, including but not limited to guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setupPerform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing linens, removing trash, and dirty linensChange and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks as requiredStock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply carts dailyDispose of trash and recyclables appropriatelyKeep all hallways, public areas, and closets neat and cleanPrepare the housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day's use and report any guest-borrowed items to the housekeeping supervisorPerform all tasks in compliance with federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation requirements and Oxford Collection of hotels safety standards and security procedures. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or General Manager.Guest Relations (10%):Always provide a high level of customer service, taking time with our guests to ensure every aspect of their stay is up to expectationsInteract and acknowledge guestsIdentify issues and resolve problemsMaintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external guestsRespond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient mannerReporting lost and found items in a timely manner and following lost and found proceduresReporting maintenance issues in a timely mannerOther (10%):Communicate effectively with all hotel staff to ensure the smooth delivery of servicesComplete a daily activity log with pertinent shift information for co-workers and leadership teamAdhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for scheduled shiftsOther duties as assignedAdditional tasks may be assigned, modified or changed as no employee has any inherent right to any particular job or authority.CORE SKILLS AND VALUESCompany Character – Supports company vision and valuesCustomer Service – Understands and meets the needs of customersDetail Orientation – Is accurate and methodical when following processes and instructionsPhysical Skills – Demonstrates capability of performing physical work in a variety of conditionsProfessional Appearance - Presents a professional and polished lookStress Management – Exhibits self-awareness and self-control in pressure situationsTeam Orientation – Works cooperatively with others, assisting voluntarilyTime Management – Does most important, guest-related work firstPREFFERED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED preferredHospitality / hotel work experience preferredHousekeeping experience preferredJOB REQUIREMENTSProof of eligibility to work in the United StatesReliable transportation to and from workAbility to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends and holidaysReliable and consistent attendancePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequentlyMust be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objectsMust be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basisWhile primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)Must be able to climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.The Oxford Collection of hotels is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer.
