Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic construction and electrical services team. Responsibilities Assist senior electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities. Support the setup and use of various hand tools and power tools necessary for electrical work. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements. Help with wiring low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify faults. Participate in framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when required. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including proper handling of electrical components and personal protective equipment. Assist in maintaining organized work areas, tools, and materials to promote efficiency on site. Learn proper techniques for working with schematics and technical documentation to support project execution. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework in electrical or related fields is preferred. Some experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrical systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices. Strong interest in learning about low voltage, high voltage systems, and NEC standards. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail when troubleshooting circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters. Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team.
