Process Engineering Manager

A highly stable, long-standing oil & gas organization with over 58 years of success is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead plant and process engineering efforts at their facility outside of Austin. You’ll lead and mentor a team of engineers while partnering closely with operations and maintenance to drive efficiency, improve equipment performance, and identify opportunities to enhance overall system reliability.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of engineers supporting plant operations and capital initiativesOversee the creation, review, and accuracy of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on equipment optimization, uptime, and process efficiencyCollaborate with operations and maintenance to troubleshoot issues and implement long-term solutionsManage and support capital projects, including equipment upgrades, retrofits, and new installationsEstablish engineering best practices and ensure alignment with safety and operational standardsSupporting Product Development focused tasks Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering disciplineStrong background working with P&IDs in an oil & gas or industrial environmentProven leadership experience (formal or informal) managing engineering teams or projectsExperience with process improvement, equipment reliability, and plant optimizationHands-on mindset with the ability to balance strategic leadership and floor-level engagement7–12+ years of relevant industry experience preferredWhy Join:55+ year track record of stability and industry longevityExceptional benefits and strong overall compensation packageLeadership team that invests in its people and supports long-term career growthOpportunity to lead impactful initiatives that directly improve plant performance and efficiencySalary is 155-170k
