Private Nurse

Job Description First Team is looking for a LVN Nurse to care for patients and carry out the nursing care plan. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be able to follow the plan of care and provide quality nursing care because you are qualified in the assigned area. The goal is to ensure recovery by assessing patients and their health and then preparing and implementing the nursing care plan that will promote health and well-being. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized treatment plans for patients Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.)and fill in patients’ charts Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.) Provide instant medical care in emergencies Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants Foster a supportive environment to care for patients and their families Expand knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. Skills Proven experience as a registered nurse Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures In-depth knowledge of health & safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.)and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent, Per diem Pay: $300.00 - $350.00 per day Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical specialties: Cardiology Critical & Intensive Care Emergency Medicine Home Health Medical-Surgical Telemetry Physical setting: Long term care Standard shift: Night shift Weekly schedule: 4x12 Monday to Friday Rotating weekends Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: Calabasas, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Preferred) Work Location: In person
