Submit your application for the opportunity below: Master's Level Inpatient TherapistJob Summary and QualificationsThe Mental Health Professional is to deliver exceptional, patient-focused care by providing supervised mental health services to patients and their loved ones. Their responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering psycho-education, leading process groups, responsible for discharge planning to include placement needs and follow up appointments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions in one-on-one and group therapy.What you will do in this Role:Conducts psychoeducational and process groups.Develops and executes discharge planning including but not limited to placement needs, follow up appointments, and transportation needsIdentify environmental and financial barriers for patient success and provide remediationDevelops treatment plans and attends treatment team meetings dailyAssesses environment and patient's safety status and reports/responds to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient's condition.Identifies risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement).Responsible for completing psychosocial and behavioral health assessments as needed within 48 hours of admission of new patientCompletes assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope.Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients' discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateMasters Degree - REQUIREDProvisional Licensure may be REQUIRED - LPC-A/LMSW/ETCBenefitsPinewood Springs, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
