The intern will support the President in day-to-day protocol activities, including preparing briefing materials, organizing meetings, and coordinating schedules and logistics with high-level internal and external stakeholders. They will assist with planning and executing formal engagements, events, and visits, ensuring proper protocols, etiquette, and documentation are observed. The Protocol Intern will draft correspondence, meeting notes, and presentations, and help maintain accurate records of interactions and commitments. The role also includes conducting background research on key partners and initiatives, monitoring follow-up actions, and supporting special projects that advance the President’s strategic priorities.Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence, briefs, and meeting summaries.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in scheduling, logistics coordination, and record-keeping.Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity when interacting with senior leaders and external stakeholders.Research and analytical skills to prepare background materials, synthesize information, and support strategic decision-making.Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort working in a hybrid environment.Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team.Interest in corporate governance, international relations, protocol, or executive support; prior internship or experience in a similar setting is an asset.Current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field (such as International Relations, Business, Political Science, Communications, or a related discipline) is preferred.
