Hardware Engineering Program Manager- Home

Home PD EPM drives the development of hardware sub-systems for new Home products, typically from architecture definition to mass production. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical depth with program management skills and executive exposure.Home HW EPM is responsible for leading a broad cross-functional team in developing Home hardware products, leveraging a solid engineering background to recognize, assess, and communicate cross-functional issues and risks. Maintain good communication and provide multiple levels of status to individual contributors and executive management.Strong technical background in EE or ME Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage complex build matrices and detailed build planning schedules Superior attention to detail with a strong commitment to rigor and excellence Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty Experience interfacing with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Mechanical design, Software/Firmware, Reliability, and Operations. Ability to travel internationally to support build eventsBS degree in Engineering required; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering or operations program management Proven ability to effectively manage factory build events and vendor relationships
