A bit about us:Award winning builder know for their luxury homes!Why join us?This role provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Construction Superintendent to make a significant impact in an innovative and growing company.Job DetailsJob Details:As a Permanent Construction Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal in coordinating and supervising construction activities, from planning to completion, while ensuring the safety and productivity of the site team.You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your ability to manage multiple projects and teams will be key. As a leader and communicator, you will liaise between various stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationAllocate resources for assigned projectsSupervise onsite personnel and subcontractorsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clientsNegotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costsMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specificationsEnsure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyManage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulationsConduct regular site inspections and coordinate daily construction activitiesResolve any problems that may arise and ensure all work is carried out to a high standardQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, specifically within the construction industryProven track record of successfully overseeing and delivering construction projects from start to finishExcellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulationsStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate with a diverse range of professionalsExceptional communication and negotiation skillsProficient in construction management softwareAbility to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documentsDemonstrated understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principlesFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standardsGood knowledge of MS OfficeFlexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as neededPMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
