In this role, the successful candidate will perform heavy equipment, small, medium, and large truck repair, and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards. This would include but not limited to running diagnostics on equipment, work closely with other team members to meet company goals, and ensure uptime of production equipment is achieved. Our equipment consists of Caterpillar, Komatsu, Ford, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Komptech, Vermeer, Tigercat, Freightliner, Bobcat, Sennebogen, Rotochopper, Vector, and Volvo. This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking Heavy Equipment & Truck Mechanic to apply his or her skills in a company that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipmentConduct regular preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy equipment including inspection and preventative maintenance repairsMaintain parts inventory, cleanliness in the shop and service vehiclesCollaborate with maintenance team to diagnose problems with vehicles, plan, and make repairsPerform regular diagnostic tests on trucks and heavy equipmentMaintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles using our computerized maintenance management systemHigh school or GED equivalent (Preferred)3 - 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment MechanicWelding experienceValid Driver's LicenseAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent reading and writing skillsASE Diesel Certification is an assetBehave Ethically: Understand ethical behavior and business practices.
