Public CompanyAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President for Private Equity Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis of private equity and private credit platforms, evaluating investment strategies, and assessing fund-level and manager-level risk. This role involves reviewing and approving credit limits, financing terms, and risk ratings in line with internal risk appetite, as well as preparing detailed credit memoranda for senior risk committees. The VP will also be involved in portfolio monitoring, risk management, and identifying emerging risks, with a focus on both market and idiosyncratic risks impacting private credit portfolios.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and typically 8-12+ years of experience in credit risk, private equity, private credit, or fund finance. A strong knowledge of private market investment strategies, fund structures, and leverage is essential, with experience in BDCs, asset managers, and registered fund vehicles being preferred. The role requires excellent analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. The VP will also be expected to contribute to policy development, process enhancements, and risk framework improvements, and to act as a trusted risk partner to various internal teams.Travel Percent
