This team is focused on creating clearer, more seamless employee experiences by improving how content is structured, maintained, migrated, and delivered across digital platforms.We are seeking a Senior Content Operations Editor for a temporary role supporting a large-scale content transformation initiative. In this role, you will help prepare, migrate, validate, and optimize employee-facing and internal support content for a new content management environment. This is a strong fit for someone who combines excellent editing skills with hands-on CMS experience, content operations discipline, and an understanding of structured content for AI-enabled experiences.This role can be based in either Seattle, WA or Arlington, VA, onsite.What You’ll DoPrepare content for migration by working with content owners to review, update, and align materials to current standardsSupport content testing and validation to ensure migrated content is accurate, properly structured, and tagged with the correct metadataTransform long-form content into reusable content fragments that can support multiple channels, audiences, and AI-enabled experiencesContribute to content standards by helping develop style guidelines, structure recommendations, and content quality best practicesImprove content workflows by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce duplication, and improve content maintenanceManage content projects by coordinating deadlines, tasks, dependencies, stakeholder input, risk escalation, and timely publicationApply taxonomy and metadata standards to support content discovery, reuse, and long-term governanceRespond to content update requests within defined timelines while aligning updates to process, policy, and business changesCollaborate with global stakeholders across content, product, operations, and business teamsMust-Have Qualifications4+ years of professional content management experience in a CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or a similar platform2+ years of project management experienceExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skillsExperience managing content for AI applications, AI-enabled experiences, or structured content deliveryStrong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, content structure, and content governanceAbility to manage multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and strong judgmentNice-to-Have QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related fieldExperience working with reusable or headless contentExperience with information architecture and content modelsExperience supporting global, cross-functional teamsExperience in a multi-language publishing environmentDemonstrated success learning and explaining business processesStrong communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholdersAbout Aquent TalentAquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world’s biggest brands.Our eligible talent get access to amazing benefits like subsidized health, vision, and dental plans, paid sick leave, and retirement plans with a match.
