James River Air Conditioning is a trusted leader in residential HVAC services, is looking for a Residential HVAC Sales Representative to drive growth and deliver comfort solutions to homeowners.Essential FunctionsConduct in-home consultations with prospective customers to assess HVAC needs.Recommend tailored heating and cooling solutions that fit budget, efficiency goals, and comfort preferences.Present detailed estimates and proposals to homeowners.Close sales and meet or exceed monthly targets.Follow up with leads, answer questions, and build lasting customer relationships.Collaborate with the installation and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.Any other duties as assignedQualifications And RequirementsApplicants must be at least 21 years of ageMust have sales experienceDemonstrates a strong capacity for quick learningProjects a confident and professional presenceFamiliarity with residential HVAC systems (training provided).Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Highly motivated, organized, and goal-driven.Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.Knowledge of HVAC industry, regulations, upcoming changes, and energy conservation preferredMust be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screening, motor vehicle record reviewPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
