Water Spider - 1st Shift

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is currently seeking a 1st Shift General Laborer/Water Spider. Reports to: General Labor SupervisorCooperates with: Welders, Metal Fab Operators, Shippers, Safety, Customer Service, and QualityLocation: Prior Lake, MNShift: 1st Shift, Mon - Fri 6AM - 2:30PMSpecific Duties and Responsibilities:Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shippingPrepping of material for production teams within facilityMonitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortagesStage materials according to production schedules Keep aisles organized and free of hazardsMove materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified)Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating proceduresClean and Grind silencers.Assist welders with measuring and layout of materialsCut and Prep insulation and screening for fabricationAssist the welders with installation of welding materialsOther duties as assigned Qualifications:High School Diploma1 + years of general warehouse experience and knowledge relating to manufacturing preferredMust be able to lift to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team liftKnowledge of safe workplace practices Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance The pay range for this role is $20-23/hour+ depending on skills and experience.  Equal Opportunity: MIRATECH is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
