About the job 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm Position: 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist We are currently seeking a 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist in Schiller Park, Illinois. Position Overview: As a 1st Shift CNC Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts. You will work with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, to create components for various industries. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto the machine Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety protocols and procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathe machines Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient in using precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication and time-management skills Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time We Offer: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for growth and advancement Dynamic and supportive work environment If you are a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
