Job Roles And ResponsibilitiesSupervise, train, and assign tasks to construction staff and subcontractors to meet project deadlinesCoordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve construction issuesReview project plans, specifications, and budgets to determine appropriate construction methodsPrepare and manage budgets, progress reports, cost tracking, and project documentationInterpret and communicate plans and contract terms to team members and stakeholdersObtain required permits and ensure regulatory complianceConduct pre-construction assessments such as feasibility, cost estimation, and environmental considerationsDetermine labor needs and allocate workforce effectivelyMaintain quality control and enforce safety and environmental standardsEnsure job sites are clean, organized, and safeMonitor construction progress to ensure compliance with building codes and regulationsManage procurement of materials and suppliesInvestigate and address delays, accidents, or on-site issuesAdjust plans in response to changing project conditions or emergenciesConduct project walkthroughs and support final inspections and handover processesPrepare and complete punch list items in a timely mannerReport progress and updates to project managementQualifications And CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferredRelevant construction or building-related experience preferredPrior supervisory experience preferredOSHA certification preferred or willingness to obtainForklift operation certification preferred or willingness to obtainFirst Aid and CPR certification preferredSkills And CompetenciesStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contractsKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodsAbility to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in basic computer and scheduling toolsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to identify and resolve safety risksEffective organizational and time management abilitiesCapability to work in dynamic and physically demanding environmentsBenefitsOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentExposure to diverse construction projects and responsibilitiesSkill enhancement in leadership, project management, and technical construction areasCollaborative and hands-on work environment
